Description

School Program volunteers assist with educational activities in the classroom and tutor patients at bedside and provide educationally-themed diversion and play for school-aged patients and siblings, adding to their well-being and comfort. Volunteers maintain cleanliness of space, including helping with cleaning of School Room materials, assist with recruiting, sign-in, and escorting of patients/siblings to and from their rooms. In addition, tutoring opportunities are available in the outpatient Pediatric Dialysis Clinic. Volunteers serve Monday-Friday, 9:50am-12:10pm.
